Battle Details: Having had most of his journey in Kanto, Jean expects most Grass Types to also be Poison Type, or at least have Poison Type moves, so he'll be leading with Chess the Corviknight to negate Poison moves and double resist Grass. While he probably won't be seeing as much Poison as he was expecting, his team is still stacked with Pokemon that would make quick work of Grass Types. Penny, Prick and Blaze all have STAB along with Chess, and even Edge and Sabre have access to Aerial Ace. Also, Chess, Penny and Prick are carrying Chesto berries, and Sabre, Edge and Blaze are carrying Cheri berries, since he knows various status inducing something-powder moves are very common on Grass Types. He tried to find Lum berries, but they're way harder to get your hands on than you'd think!
