Badge Requests
What does it take? It changes for each gym! Normally, the games increase in difficulty as you progress, but that wouldn't be any fun if characters could just as easily take on the Gyms that are supposed to be for top trainers only. THEREFORE, the gym leaders aren't going to be pushovers like in the games! In order to win a badge, the mods will take into account your current roster and the attacks and advantages to see whether your pokémon is strong enough to win a badge or not.
Each gym leader has a Regular Team of pokemon and an Elite Team of pokemon you can challenge. It's up to a trainer to decide which team to challenge, but if you take on the Elite Team of six level 100 Pokemon, you'll receive double the prize money. The items, however, are not doubled. Excellent for trainers looking for the extra challenge or those looking to make money fast.

!!! To preserve the spirit of the game, obtaining badges using recently-inherited Pokémon (ie, Pokemon received from dropped characters) that massively outlevel your own is discouraged. If this happens, you may be asked by the badge mod to revise your team. Inherited Pokemon that your character has had for a while and are the same level as the rest of your character's team are fine to use!
!!! Remember that you must fight all four members of the Elite Four and Champion Lance in a row. You may heal your Pokémon between battles and take a short break, but you cannot leave without ending your challenge.

Badge/Gym Leader: FIGHTING JASMINE TO AVENGE CONNIE
Elite/Regular: just regular plz
Team: T-chan (Tepig 77) + L-suke (Pyroar 49) as back-up
Battle Details: We're not gonna lie: beating Jasmine is incredibly important to Akane at this moment, because she very much needs to avenge Connie's loss to her last week. So yeah. She's not even hesitating to throw her level 77 starter at a trio of pokemon 17-22 levels beneath him, type advantage or not.
The type advantage does help, however. So does picking up Heat Wave from a move tutor on the road. After an initial Defense Curl, T-chan focuses on using said Heat Wave and Flamethrower against his opponents. Simple? Yes. But hopefully effective.
It's probably likely that he'll dip a bit low when it comes to HP. If he gets too close to fainting, Akane will call him back and send out L-suke to substitute while she heals T-chan, immediately sending him back in once he is, since L-suke is underleveled for this gym. L-suke uses most of the same tactics as T-chan, only Noble Roaring instead of defense curling.
And with luck, Connie should be avenged.

Battle Details: Akane would like nothing more than to be able to recycle her last gym's strategy for this one, HOWEVER, Pryce is a tricky dude and used the dual-typing of his pokemon to make sure that Fire doesn't actually have type advantage for Dewgong and Lapras, even if it does for Mamoswine. But do you know what has type advantage?
Electricity.
So while Pryce has those two Pokemon out, S-chan will be taking the lead over T-chan. Electric Terrain and Charge both boost its electrical power and Discharge and Lightning Fang both take advantage of that boosted power.
When he gets to Mamoswine, that's when T-chan jumps in. And it turns out that Akane really is going to just reuse some of her strategy for the fight against Jasmine if possible. So yeah. Defense Curl, Heatwave, and Flamethrower. Simple enough, but hopefully effective. After all, he still has type/level advantage against Mamoswine if nothing else.
